‘AKO: Alpha Kappa Omega’ is an adaptation of the movie ‘Batch 81’ directed by Mike De Leon. It covers the story of Sid Lucero, Ding Magtibay, Pacoy Ledesma, Ronnie Roxas Jr., Arni Enriquez, and Santi Santillan, all neophytes applying for a university-based fraternity called Alpha Kappa Omega (AKO).

“Best play (full-length/original Filipino material or adaptation) 'Alpha Kappa Omega' (Mike de Leon’s film 'Batch ’81,' adapted and directed by Guelan Luarca).”
— Vincen Gregory Yu, Philippine Daily Inquirer
“It was not only a story about the young men, but also about the community around them who motivated and enabled them to behave the way they do.”
— Fred Hawson, Fred Said/ ABS-CBN News
“The play revolutionized and dissected a lot of socio-political issues through its metaphors.”
— JC Salud, Star Powerhouse
